Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JB RentalHub ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access the Platform. JB RentalHub is operated from Windhoek, Namibia, and these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia.

2. Definitions

  • "Landlord" means a user who lists a property on the Platform.
  • "Tenant" means a user who browses, inquires about, or rents a property listed on the Platform.
  • "Listing" means a property advertisement posted by a Landlord.
  • "Subscription" means a paid plan that grants Landlords access to post and manage Listings.

3. Landlord Subscriptions

To create Listings, Landlords must purchase a Subscription. The following plans are available:

  • 2-Week Plan — N$80 (includes an 8-day free trial for new users)
  • Monthly Plan — N$135 per month
  • Yearly Plan — N$530 per year

Payments are accepted via Bank Transfer/EFT and Namibia mobile wallet services (MTC MoMo, TN Mobile, FNB eWallet, Standard Bank BlueWallet, Nedbank Send-iMali). Subscription access is activated after proof of payment is received and verified. All prices are quoted in Namibian Dollars (NAD) and include any applicable local taxes.

4. Free Trial

New Landlords are eligible for one 8-day free trial when selecting the 2-Week Plan for the first time. The trial begins on the date of account activation. After the trial period ends, the Landlord must complete payment to continue posting and managing Listings. JB RentalHub reserves the right to discontinue or modify the free trial offer at any time.

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings.
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose under Namibian law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems.
  • Copy, scrape, or systematically collect data from the Platform without permission.

6. Listing Content

Landlords are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their Listings. JB RentalHub does not verify property ownership or condition. Listings must include truthful information about the property, pricing, availability, and lease terms. JB RentalHub reserves the right to remove any Listing that violates these terms or applicable law without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

JB RentalHub acts as a marketplace connecting Landlords and Tenants. We are not a party to any rental agreement and do not guarantee the accuracy of Listings, the suitability of properties, or the conduct of users. To the maximum extent permitted by Namibian law, JB RentalHub shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Termination

JB RentalHub may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason deemed necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform. Users may delete their account by contacting us at the email address provided below.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage users to review this page periodically.
